Stop in tonight and sample wines with Lisa Bell. We have a selection of Australian wines that she'll be pouring from 6p-9p. They are all from Kangarilla Road in McLaren Vale.
Kangarilla’ is an aboriginal word from the local's. It describes a place where something is nurtured and is also thought to mean a place with abundant resources.
We will feature their Street Cred 2013 Shiraz: It's a medium-bodied vibrant & savory wine, quintessential McLaren Vale Shiraz. It's $15.59
Kangarilla Road Chardonnay 2014: Citrusy, with a touch of minerality & white peach on the nose. The palate enhances the pineapple and white nectarine & stone fruit flavours finishing with lingering citrus. It's $16.99
Charlie's Blend Shiraz 2012 (this one was a no brainer for obvious reasons!) A Shiraz/Cabernet Blend Vibrant crimson with purple hues, dark fruit candy like black currant and sweet earthiness. The palate has typical McLaren Vale spicy red and black fruits together with firm fruit and oak tannins resulting in a dry finish. It's $14.59

Then there's THIS! Next Saturday the 11th we'll have a tasting in the front and a tasting in the back! A newbie, Conner from Republic National will be in our usual tasting spot pouring wines we selected especially for Valentines Day. He'll feature Ruffino Extra Dry Sparking Rose for $14.99, Hidden Crush Chardonnay & Cabernet, both $12.59 Tenet Syrah "The Pundant" for $21.99. This one is a blend of 88% Syrah, 6% Grenache, 4% Mouvredre & 2% Viognier. I can't begin to tell you how much I LOVE it.
Then in the back, by our climate controlled wine room, we'll have a selection of Chocolate wine & beer! We will pour Blue Mountain's Dark Hallow oak aged chocolate & coffee stout, Starr Hills Double Bass double chocolate stout, Xoco Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate wine from Horton Vineyards, all 4 from Virginia! 8 Different selections for you to sample and we will be giving out Ghirardelli brownies while they last!

Anyone that is familiar with us knows the emphasis we put on film. The Skyline Indie Film Festival is, we feel, one of the most important festivals that happens in Old Town. We volunteer, raise funds and participate in it. It would mean a great deal if you could help out, too.
