Prayer update

Dear Friends and Family,

As we wrap up a long week, we just want you to know the latest. There  is little to report. Zinha remains at the orphanage (this picture is from this morning). Our lawyer met with the judge, there is no problem as far as the judge is concerned. The problem is, that for reasons unknown to us, social services is not returning our process back to the court as has been ordered by the judge (twice). We don't understand this and believe that these mountains need to be removed by the Lord, through prayer. Our lawyer tried several times to meet with the director of social services, to no avail.

Please pray for an end to this chapter. Zinha is playful and happy to see us on each visit but on each departure we all break a bit more. Zinha is obviously confused and hurting. This is a really hard time for all of us. Please pray for complete protection over Zinha-- mind, body, and spirit. Also, please pray for us to have strength and peace when there is nothing we can do. "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40: 29
Over this weekend please pray for all hurdles to wash away as sand on the sea shore. There is much darkness around us these days but we know our God is bigger and He is,  "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families" Psalm 68:5-6.

We've seen God do amazing things throughout our journeys, we await again.

Until she's home,
Chad, Dara, Nede and Zinha
