February 15 Event:
A History of the Safari & Immersive Travel Experiences in Africa
Africa is a land of rich diverse cultures, with many natural wonders, and is thought to be the cradle of human kind. Throughout modern history, the image of Africa that captivates the world is the adventure of getting up close to untamed wildlife while on safari! For those of us who’ve been lucky enough to go on safari, we remember that exhilarating moment ... our first wild animal sighting! Close up in it’s natural environment and from the safety of our safari vehicle! But how did the modern day safari come to be?

Join Global Family Travels on February 15th, as we unveil the History of Safari & Immersive Travel Experiences in Africa, including safaris to Botswana & South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.  For details and to RSVP, visit our Event page.
February 25 Event:
Conservation of the Painted Dog and Sustainable Tourism in Zimbabwe
Join us for a special event to learn about the conservation of the Painted Dog and Sustainable Tourism in Zimbabwe, and our 2017 trip to Zimbabwe support these efforts!  Two special guest speakers, Dr. Greg Rasmussen Founder of Zimbabwe’s Painted Dog Research Trust Carrie Culp, Executive Director and Founder of the Painted Dog Research Trust USA, will give an engaging presentation on what efforts are being taken to help conserve the species, as well address how community-based tourism has benefited the protection of the dog.

We will also review our 2017 itinerary for Zimbabwe Safari and Painted Dog Adventures and learn more about how we can contribute to this worthy cause to help protect the Painted Dogs. For details and to RSVP, visit our Event page.
