SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS
There was true unity at the SAGs and I'm a little behind on this one as I'd normally do a round up of the red carpet dresses (that I wish I could get into - but I'm making progress) followed by a few congrats to award recipients, but as I watched this year's Screen Actor's Guild Awards on E! I noticed it was more than just an awards ceremony... it was an evening of true unity. I've never heard so many speeches "connecting" communities, displaying love, and creating a platform where celebrities, powerful celebrities, used their voices, creative skills, and exposure to unite. SLIMMING WORLD
I won't deny it was a tough week and maintaining the plan was a challenge; 2 lunch meetings, one dinner meeting and I was "dry" for the remainder of January, so when I stepped on the scales and saw a smaller number I was delighted - absolutely delighted and felt fabulous of course. The target IS gettIng nearer, and I'm not rushing, but you can keep up to date with the progress myself and my colleagues at Magic are making on my Facebook Page.

This award-winning film is based on a true story and has touched many hearts and souls. 3 female mathematicians, Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson and Katherine Johnson were the brains behind the momentous task of sending astronaut John Glenn into orbit and guaranteeing his safe return. It's well worth a visit to the cinema.
Thanks to The Telegraph I have 2 pairs of tickets to the Gala Screening of Hidden Figures, the evening will start with drinks and canapés, followed by a screening of the film, ending with a panel and audience discussion hosted by yours truly.
