Popping in today to share 10 self-care tips that take 10 minutes or less and cost next to nothing because self-care doesn't have to take a lot of time or money.




1. Give yourself some grace. Instead of beating yourself up, try reminding yourself we all make mistakes. Repeat every day if necessary.

2. Give yourself a compliment. Instead of talking shit about a part of your body that you hate, love up the parts of your body you already dig. Dress it up, embellish it and allow your focus to be on what you LOVE instead of what you hate.

3. Give yourself a break. Close your eyes and allow your attention to rest on your breath. Watch the rise and fall of the inhale and exhale for 5 breath cycles.

4. Make your heart sing. Put your phone in airplane mode and use that uninterrupted time to do something that makes your heart sing.

5. Dance party in the kitchen. Put on your favorite songs and get moving.

6. Write down three things you are grateful for and why. Here's a sentence frame: I am grateful for ________ because __________________________. Science shows gratitude raises your level of happiness.

7. Set an intention for the day. Write a single word on a post it - how most do you want the day to feel? Refer back to the post it frequently.

8. Get some shut eye. 20 minute power nap or legs up the wall will feel better than another cup of coffee.

9. Reframe your day. Instead of writing a to do list, write a I did it list.  I am sure you did a LOT today (and every day)... Give yourself some credit!

10. Give everyone an automatic A (including you!).
