Hi everyone,

You know us as the fit-first shop. I tell my bike industry friends all the time that the “Fit-Driven Bike Shop” is what we do here. You might have noticed that when we start a fitting, talking with you and asking questions, we take a look at your shoes and often at your feet.

This sometimes causes some consternation for our clients as they are here to talk bikes and all the cool bike stuff.

But feet are where all your power meets the bike and, well, we’re not exactly evolved to move our feet in 172.5mm circles for hours on end.

Accommodations for this constrained, repetitive, and constantly loaded situation must be made! Or else:

  • Tingling toes
  • Numb feet
  • HOT FOOT, owww!
  • Knee pain
  • IT band irritation

All of the above complaints can result from arch collapse and improper alignment of the foot to pedal. You can understand why we care so much about your happy feet.

The Foot Fit Seminar...because it’s where we so often wander off in wrong directions.

Stacey from CronoPT and I have been working together to help our customers find healthier ways to pedal. Between the two of us, we’ve been able to address many of the core issues, both in treating pain, but also preventing it through good biomechanics, insoles, and shoes. It’s a big topic, though, so we’ve decided to do a free seminar on it next week.

All you gotta do is sign up:

Happy Feet with Colin & Stacey. Tuesday, Feb 21 @ 5PM

*The sale: A 20% off coupon for insoles, Bont custom-molded shoes, cleats, and cleat wedges will be issued to you as an attendee of the seminar (good for 30 days). We know that once you know more about feet and fit you will likely want to do something about it.

The Crono Cervelo P2 edition. The Cervelo P2 hardly needs any introduction. It is, after all, the most popular triathlon bike of all-time. It’s an Ironman world championship winner...yup Kona, no kidding. In fact, more P2s have raced in Kona than any other triathlon bike.

But put that all aside. Yes, it’s popular and it’s successful. The thing is, it also has a lot of potential that’s not always realized.

And that’s where the Cronometro P2 comes in.

Is your bike unfit for duty? Not to get all boot camp on you, but if you’re thinking overhaul or tune-up, it would be great if you can get your bike in...sooner rather than later. If you’re not careful, your bike might go AWOL on you this Spring. That's the fact, Jack.

Also, please don’t forget, * we will be closed this Friday and Saturday * so that we can all attend the Frost Bike trade show in Minneapolis!

Ciao,

Colin
