Shalom! Thank you for your prayers of faith for my health! After a long season of injury/illness and two rounds of the winter flu, I am finally feeling better.
While I was battling the second round of the flu, I was praying when I heard the Lord say; “Take My hand and I will bring you out of the valley, back to the mountain.”
Yesterday I visited Mount Shaul (Saul) in the mountains of Gilboa where a battle took place with the Israelites and the Philistines. It was during this battle that King Saul and his sons were killed. King David sang a song of lamentations when he heard King Saul and his best friend Jonathan were dead. In the song, King David literally cursed the mountains of Gilboa. (2 Samuel 1)
Today however, the mountains of Gilboa are flourishing with beauty. In the springtime there will be beautiful wild flowers to enhance the scenery. Hang gliders soar above the mountains and the plains below, the sound of ATV’s can be heard all around, and the smell of barbecues are part of the biblical sight seeing adventure.
There I was standing on the mountain admiring its beauty, high above the valley.

I have now stepped into my new position at the University of the Holy Land as the Visa Administrator. Helping others obtain their visas to study in Israel has always been a blessing to me. It is my desire to help others learn more about the bible and Israel, in its context. By continuing with the University I will stay on the Clergy Visa and continue to live in Jerusalem.
My goals this month are to speak at a congregation in Ramallah and to begin a new bible study with some of the younger women I have been walking with over the years, for the purpose of fully understanding their destiny within their individual situations in Israel.
I am also prayerfully planning a trip to Kenya in late April while working to help the Bishop of Faith in Action Tabernacle Ministries with his plans to attend a two week intensive Historical Geography of Israel course with the University of the Holy Land.
