CARSON Contemporary Textile Art I'm at the beginning of a new series about the beauty of the seasons, but it is also an expression of our changing climate. I live in northern Colorado, just at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and stepped outside a few days ago to 74-degree temperatures. I've begun work by creating "traditional" color schemes, but you can expect changes. In my ongoing attention to the plight of butterflies and other pollinators, I looked into The Xerces Society's Red List of endangered butterflies and moths. My next series will address the vulnerable state of these messengers, who are also my muses.
