Our annual Government and Nonprofit Career EXPO brings top employers to campus to recruit for internships and full-time jobs in a wide range of fields in the government and nonprofit sectors. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about careers in government and nonprofit and to network with employers. Many students have secured internships and full-time employment as a result of this annual event.

Learn how to prepare for this annual event, which attracts around 100 employers annually from industries connected to the government and non-profit sectors.

Hoya Career Connection

Careers for the Common Good

Feb. 16 | 7 PM | Fisher Colloquium

Careers for the Common Good is an annual event that brings together current undergraduates with over 75 alumni who are working in industries and fields that support "the common good." Throughout the ninety minute networking event, alumni share their career path experiences, advice, suggestions and lessons-learned to help students take a step towards a career for the common good. Bill Reynolds (C'79, P'10, P'13), Executive Director of the Georgetown University Alumni Association, will give the opening remarks of the event. Register

2017 Georgetown University McCourt Policy Conference - Feeling Left Behind

Feb. 23rd and 24th | Copley Formal Lounge/Old North Room 205

This conference will examine the circumstances of disaffected groups worldwide that have significant implications for public policy. We focus on identifying what realities created current states of frustration and what policy paths can shape our collective future.

2017 Top Talent Women’s Mentor Program

Are you a Sophomore interested in financial services and looking to jumpstart your career? The Credit Suisse Top Talent Women’s Mentor Program offers unique opportunities for outstanding female college Sophomores to learn more about Global Markets (Equity Research/Sales & Trading), Technology or Investment Banking & Capital Markets. This selective program offers unique benefits, including early access to Credit Suisse leaders, technical skills training, mentorship, and shadowing & networking opportunities. Selected participants are invited to attend an in-office multi-day career development program, in addition to an on-going mentor relationship. Students chosen will be paired with a senior level mentor in their respective division. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to participate in an accelerated interview process for a junior year summer internship before the general applicant pool.
