Band Booster Meeting TONIGHT
Don’t forget that we moved the band booster meeting to tonight, Monday, February 13th at 7:30 PM in the Ensemble Room next to the band hall. There will be an orchestra rehearsing in the Band Hall so please use the alternate doors to access the Ensemble Room. Thank you.

Dining for Dragons - February 23rd
Dining for Dragons returns Thursday, February 23rd at Double Dave's Pizzaworks in Round Rock from 11 AM- 10PM. Dine in, carry out or delivered, the Dragon Band will receive 20% of proceeds by simply mentioning the Round Rock Band Boosters when you place your order.
Tell your friends and family, kick back and have some pizza for the Dragon Band.
5th Annual Guard Gala
The 5th Annual Guard Gala is March 11th starting at 6:00 PM in the 1100 cafeteria. Come for dinner, music from our Jazz Band, a silent auction, and performances by both the Varsity and JV Color Guard. Buy your tickets for $10 each from any Guard Member or by emailing rockguard@computerjocks.com. Tickets will also be for sale at tonight’s Band Booster Meeting!
2nd Annual Garage Sale
The plans for our 2nd Annual Garage Sale on March 25th are starting to take shape. This event served us well last year and like most fundraising events turned out to be a whole lot of fun.
Here is what we still need:
- Donations - Things that sell well: housewares, furniture (in good shape), toys, games, working electronics, tools, working appliances
- Bake Sale Items - Either individually wrapped or whole items
- Trucks - We need volunteers with trucks that can help transport larger items.
- Volunteers - We need YOU! We need people to help with Drop off times, help sorting items, and most importantly help on the day of to sell it all!

2017 Mattress Sale
Although it is still a few months away, make sure you have April 8th marked on your calendar. We’ll be selling brand name, high quality mattresses from Custom Fundraising Solutions for our annual Mattress Sale. If you need a mattress, THIS is the time and place to buy one. We’ll be taking over the 1100 Cafeteria this year so there will be a lot of space to check out the mattresses they bring!
Last Chance for RRBB Board Nominations
This is the last chance this year to nominate someone (or yourself) for a board position with the Round Rock Band Boosters. Nominations are due to the nominating committee by February 20th. Please contact a nominating committee member for more information about an officer position.
Officer positions are: President, Vice President-Fundraising, Secretary, Treasurer, Finance Manager, Parliamentarian, Volunteer Coordinator, Concessionaire, Bingo Manager, Information Officer, Hospitality, Spirit Wear. In order to be nominated/elected to an office, you must be a member of RRBB with a student in the band program.
Photo Book Pick Up
If you ordered a photo book, they have arrived! Emails went out to those who purchased them last week, but just in case you missed it here is the pick up schedule:
- TONIGHT Monday 2/13 - Immediately following the Band Booster Meeting. Remember the Booster meeting starts at 7:30 PM.
- TOMORROW Tuesday 2/14 - 4:15-5:15 PM at or near the picnic tables across from the marching blacktop.
Please make arrangements to pick up your books at one of these two times.
Senior Scholarship Applications - Class of 2017
Senior scholarships are open for any RRHS senior band student. Applications are due Monday, March 6th, 2017 to Mr. Mobley by the close of the school day. Application must be filled out by the student applying. Please download and review the application for more details.
