STARTING THE YEAR OFF RIGHT! - Jan/Feb 2017

¡UN BUEN COMIENZO DE AÑO!
–Enero/febrero de 2017

It's hard to believe one month of 2017 is already gone–and the second is almost over ... if this first month is any indication of what's to come it is promising to be a busy year from the looks of things.

Parece mentira que ya ha pasado el primer mes de 2017 y el segundo ya casi termina... Si este primer mes es un anticipo de lo que está por venir, este año será un año lleno de actividades.

DIVINE HEALING TECHNICIAN SEMINAR - Plano, Texas
January 18 Marianne and I met up with Rauna in Dallas, Texas, where we spent 4 days together, attending a Divine Healing seminar in Plano, Texas, with Curry Blake and team at the John G. Lake Ministries Center. Excellent in every way, good solid teaching so desperately needed among believers everywhere ... good old Bible Basics and discipleship principles covering many topics, though stemming from what the Bible teaches about healing and Divine health.

SEMINARIO DE SANIDAD DIVINA - Plano, Texas
El 18 de enero Marianne y yo nos reunimos con Rauna en Dallas, Texas, donde pasamos 4 días juntos, y asistimos a un seminario de sanidad divina en Plano, Texas, con Curry Blake y su equipo en el Centro Lake Ministries de John G. Fue un excelente seminario en todo sentido. Las enseñanzas fueron contundentes y muy buenas y muy necesarias para los creyentes de todas partes... escuchamos enseñanzas de fundamentos bíblicos y principios del discipulado abarcando muchos temas, derivados de lo que la Biblia enseña acerca de la curación y la sanidad Divina.

NEXT STOP: KATY, TEXAS - Marianne returned to Mexico City to begin her New Year of classes, while Rauna and I proceeded to Katy, Texas, for 3 days of ministering and enjoying the company of Ministerio Internacional Palabras Que Dan Vida (words that Give Life International Ministry), with Henry and Gladys Penso. We also got to visit friends in Houston, Texas one day, which rounded out our Texas visit nicely.

LA SIGUIENTE PARADA: KATY, TEXAS
Marianne regresó a la ciudad de México para comenzar su nuevo año de clases. Rauna viajó a Katy, Texas, para 3 días de ministración, disfrutando de la compañía del Ministerio Internacional Palabras que dan Vida, con Henry y Gladys Penso. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar amigos en Houston, Texas, durante un día, complentando asínuestra visita de Texas.

Then it was on to MEXICO, where we were to begin 10 days of ministering.

Luego a Mexico, donde ministramos por 10 dias.

WEDDING OF ADAN AND LUCIA IN TOLUCA - JAN 27
La Boda de Adan y Lucia en Toluca, Mexico – 27 de enero

Rauna officiated at the wedding of 2 dear friends, Adan and Lucia, in Toluca, the capital of the state of Mexico. It was a beautiful ceremony, and a wonderful consummation of their relationship, as well as a commitment to each other before friends and relatives. They had hoped it would be a witness to those they know and love. It has been a fantastic step forward in both of their lives and the lives of their family. Rody Correa and I did music for the occasion.

BODA DE ADÁN Y LUCÍA EN TOLUCA - 27 DE ENERO
Rauna ofició en la boda de 2 amigos, Adán y Lucía, en Toluca, la capital del estado de México. Fue una ceremonia hermosa y una maravillosa consumación de su relación, así como una declaración de compromiso entre ellos, en la presencia de amigos y familiares. Deseaban que la ceremonia fuera un testimonio delante de sus seres queridos y conocidos. Fue un estupendo paso de progreso en sus vidas y las vidas de su familia. Rody Correa Ávila y yo amenizamos el evento con música adecuada para la ocasión.

After a few days rest back in the D.F., Rauna and I headed off to the city of Leon, Guanajuato, where we stayed with a dear family who are earnestly seeking the Lord about how to best serve Him and reach others with the Gospel. We interacted with them and were able to offer what they, and some of those who have joined with them, considered to be Godly counsel and suggestions as to how to proceed. Our time together seemed obviously pre-arranged by our Lord!

Después de unos días de descanso en el D.F., Rauna y yo fuimos a la ciudad de León, Guanajuato, donde nos quedamos con una querida familia que está seriamente pidiendo la guía del Señor para decidir la mejor manera de ponerse a Su servicio y pregonar el Evangelio. Intercambiamos idea y les ofrecimos lo que ellos, y algunos de los que se han unido con ellos en esta iniciativa, consideran consejo Divino, compartiendo sugerencias acerca de cómo proceder. La convivencia fue providencial y evidentemente establecidad por nuestro querido Señor.

NEXT STOP: SALAMANCA...
Here we joined Eric and Iran for a wonderful time of ministry and interacting with their body of believers, who took wonderful care of us. They allowed us the privilege of ministering in a Women's breakfast, a leadership meeting, and 2 general services as well. We even had a moment to share a meal together in spite of all the business! SIGUIENTE PARADA: SALAMANCA...
Aquí se unieron Eric e Irán y disfrutamos unos días maravillosos de ministrar e interactuar con su grupo de creyentes. Nos cuidaron estupendamente. Nos permitieron el privilegio de ministrar durante el Desayuno de la Mujer, una reunión de liderazgo y 2 servicios generales. Hasta tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir una comida, a pesar lo ocupados que estábamos. [Ver foto]

After an inspiring time there in Salamanca, we headed back to Mexico, stopping in la Marquesa to re-visit our friends Adan and Lucia, and to share a few hours with some of their friends who had gathered for a meeting. We sang and shared stories, Rauna left them with an encouraging message, and then we headed back to Mexico, where we spent a few days resting up and doing business, before Rauna returned to Canada—and the SNOW there!! A tough return after sunny Mexico!

Luego de unos días inspiradores en Salamanca, nos dirigimos a México. Paramos en la Marquesa a visitar a nuestros amigos Adán y Lucía y compartimos unas horas con algunos de sus amigos que se habían juntado para una convivencia. Cantamos y compartimos relatos de nuestro viaje; Rauna les dejó un mensaje alentador, y luego nos dirigimos a México, donde descansamos unos días y atendimos asuntos pendientes antes de que Rauna regresara a Canadá a la nieve. ¡Un duro regreso después del sol de México!
