AETA Audio Systems is proud to unveil ScoopTeam, a codec designed specifically for live radio and TV sports coverage.
The ScoopTeam commentary unit incorporates a codec for live transmission of one or two high-quality audio signals.
The two audio channels can be set with a single destination (transmission in “dual mono” format), or two separate destinations (double codec).
ScoopTeam mainly uses IP networks, but can also operate via ISDN. Alternative transmission modes are available as options, including AoIP over 3G/4G, Wi-Fi via USB and mobile voice (including HD Voice capability).
The unit offers offers four commentary positions and features an easy-to-use interface, which lends the operator total control of routing and monitoring with assignable buttons and knobs for settings and volume adjustments.
Different levels of users allow a clear distinction between the use of the journalist and that of the technician, in order to offer comfort and simplicity to the journalist, and security and serenity to the technician with remote access and control via IP of all its parameters and settings.
In addition, the premium version allows users to interface with Ravenna networks (AES67, Dante) and offers two additional analog inputs and one AES input.
Available for sale in the spring of 2017, ScoopTeam is now available as an evaluation version for broadcasters wishing to test its capacities in real conditions.
