REGIONAL FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT SYMPOSIUM
Mark your calendars for March 31, 2017
GCFTZ will be a sponsor of the Regional Foreign Direct Investment Symposium (FDI) this March, hosted by the City of Cincinnati Department of Community and Economic Development. The goal of the one-day event is to build an advanced understanding of foreign direct investment and to explore the modes through which foreign capital flows through the region.
Panelists will be from the following:
- REDI Cincinnati,
- SelectUSA,
- Cleveland International Fund,
- KPMG,
- World Trade Center of Kentucky,
- Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority,
- and many more.
According to the City of Cincinnati, developing a foreign direct investment strategy is critical. The City’s strategic FDI initiatives will allow Cincinnati to position itself as a sophisticated market that is able to handle complex financing structures, as well as increase investors’ perceptions of Cincinnati’s investment climate in general.
