Notes from the Office:

School Mass Tomorrow:
We will celebrate Mass tomorrow morning at 8:20 AM. Please remind your students to wear appropriate attire. As always, they may change after Mass. Students are encouraged to wear St. Kilian spirit wear or colors for the pep rally at 1:30 PM.

Catholic Schools Week Thank You:
The students and staff would like to thank all of the volunteers that allowed us to enjoy the week's activities.

A big "Thank You!" to Kelly Schnitzler and Wendy Dulak for taking the reins of Catholic Schools Week this year!

*If you took pictures during any of the activities last week and are willing to share, please send them to Mrs. Trimberger at trimbergerj@stkiliancong.org.

2017-2018 Tuition and Fees:
Please click here for information regarding tuition and fees for next school year. The tuition amount reflects an approximate 3% increase. The technology fee per family also increased slightly to help offset the costs of maintenance, purchases, and contracts.

Thank you for your patience as I finalized the tuition scale and fees for next year! After working out the numbers, I broke the cost down by day. For $17.00/day, we provide a faith-based, academic program, focused on rigorous standards that ensure our students' success right now and in the future; dedicated staff members, invested in the success of all of our students; and a safe, caring environment and that's just off the top of my head!

I want to thank you for making a financial commitment to the education of your student or students. Thank you for spreading the St. Kilian School name to others, too! Many new families have expressed an interest in our school and more often than not, they share the name of a current school family when speaking of how they "found" us!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Trimberger

Name the Boiler Competition:
Each student is encouraged to fill out the "Name the Boiler" form that was sent home with the students today. Please have each student fill out the form and return to school by Monday, Feb. 13th. The winning student will receive a gift card and the selected name will be placed on the new boiler!

Lunch Menu Change:
Please note that the February 3rd and 10th menu options are reversed on this month's menu. Tomorrow's lunch options are an Italian meatball sub or pizza dippers.

Movie Night Signup:
Last call for those students interested in joining us for Movie Night tomorrow night. Please click here to signup.

Returning Student Registration:
We ask that current families register students for next year by the end of February. The form for 2017-18 registration can be found here. Please note, he registration fee of $250 per family will be due with registration. This fee will be applied to your family's 2017-18 tuition balance.

After School Learning Program (ASLP) Reminder:
If you would like an opportunity for your student to work on homework with the guidance of a staff member right after school, please think about ASLP.

For only $7.00/afternoon, your student may work in a quiet, focused environment. This is a great option for students waiting for practice or those who struggle to complete homework at home. Please click here for more information.

10th Annual Valentino's Cafe at St. Kilian:
Valentino's Cafe will take place on Sunday, February 12th from 2:00-3:30 PM. Students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers will help greet guests, serve desserts and beverages, and assist with clean-up duties. Adult assistance is also needed in the kitchen area with Fr. David. Please see the flyer for more information.

15th Annual "It's A Spring Thing" Craft Fair:
The craft fair is scheduled for March 18, 2017.  We are now accepting booth applications for crafters that sell handmade items.  If you or some you know would be interested in a booth for that day, please contact Jaime Newman at skscraftfair@gmail.com

Safeguarding Reminder:
Volunteers need to attend one Safeguarding workshop in order to consistently volunteer at or for school events. If you need to attend a workshop, there will be a Safeguarding workshop at St. Frances Cabrini in West Bend on March 8th from 6:00-9:00 PM. This is the closest session to Hartford this Spring. Please click here to register for the session.
