WORKING FOR YOU

WHAT'S NEW?

At our sister company, Two Green Leaves, we've been working hard to design and produce a range of functional, practical and (even if we do say so ourselves) really rather cool furniture that's built to last, for adults and children alike.

Why not take a look at our new products for Home & Furniture or Toys & Play.

A SAMPLE OF OUR RECENT MAKERSMITH WORK

The Cast Iron Bath Company

Design and Development
In quite a different area of work we have been carrying some 3D design work for The Cast Iron Bath Company, helping to develop their prestigious range of bathroom products and accessories.

Enterprise Works

Manufacturing
We are very pleased to work with Enterprise Works in Swindon particularly as they are a are a supported employer, where over 90% of their staff are either adults with disability or long term health conditions. Enterprise Works manufacture “A-Frame” street sign boards for Pizza Hut® and contacted us to manufacture a large batch of header panels for the boards including the Pizza Hut® name and “Hat” logo.

Scratch and Snooze

Design and Development
The project involved taking the client’s concepts and developing viable product designs. This included structural design of wall connections (based on the heaviest possible cat!) right through to batch production of products.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

“At Scratch and Snooze, we pride ourselves on the design and quality of our products. Both of which wouldn’t have been possible without the excellent services provided by Gareth and his team. Their engineering expertise and machining ability means no job has been impossible. They have delivered to target every time and to date have never let us down.We are looking forward to developing our range and know that Makersmith will be with us every step of the way. They are an invaluable asset to our business and we have enjoyed a seamless relationship over 2016."
Laurie and the Team at Scratch and Snooze

“Gareth’s depth of knowledge and expertise in product development and 3D modelling, gave us the opportunity to take 2D sketched ideas through progressive stages of 3D CAD modelling. In so doing, we avoided numerous financial costs and unnecessary delays in launching our range of tapware. Launched in Autumn 2016, this range of tapware has become the option of choice for our clients. With Gareth’s continued support and expertise, we have finalised designs on a range of shower ware and sanitaryware, due for launch Spring 2017.  Gareth’s ability to understand our challenges and communicate his ideas clearly made the whole process much easier than we expected.”
Lee Hunwicks, founder of The Cast Iron Bath Company
