A Note from Mrs. Yankovich

Dear Families,

I am constantly amazed at how quickly this year is flying by.  I spend a lot of time in the hallways and classrooms.  It is so special to hear and see how our faith is celebrated daily, whether it be our morning prayer centered around our theme of “Masterpiece of God”, our end of the day prayer lovingly written by one of our students, our student led weekly celebration of the Eucharist, the bulletin boards displaying the ways we learn about our faith in the classroom or seeing a class pray intentions for others.  A Catholic education is truly a gift.  I am so happy that you all are giving this gift to your child.

We are already looking forward to the next school year.  As a reminder enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year is underway.  Please register your child before March 2nd before the enrollment fee increases.  As always, please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Have a wonderful weekend with your family.

Respectfully,
Jenny Yankovich

Young Artists Needed

"Each year the Oregon-California Trails Association (OCTA) produces a special western calendar based on a particular theme or topic. The calendar will be created using the original artwork of elementary students. Prizes will be awarded to each child whose artwork is selected.

The Oregon-California Trails Association is dedicated to the study, preservation, interpretation, appreciation and enjoyment of the western pioneer trails. This is one of its educational projects. The project integrates history and art. We hope that teachers will see the value of this, incorporate it into their class work and encourage their students to participate. Hopefully it will also increase their students’ interest in learning about the West and those peoples who inhabited it, an important part of our collective history."
