Doug Lawler

Doug was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He lived and worked in Mexico in the 70’s and Spain in the 80’s where, for 12 years, he worked and exhibited in numerous galleries in Barcelona,, Ibiza, Madrid. Upon his return to the United States, Doug became involved in art conservation and worked as a free-lance fine arts conservator for many years at S.F. bay area museums including the Oakland Museum, the Mexican museum, the Fine Arts Museums and the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco.
