Students visit University of Westminster
Students from Years 7 to 10 at West Hatch High School had the opportunity to visit the University of Westminster to gain an insight into what university life and study involves.
The students were all part of the schools KS3/4 Honours Programme which aims to raise the aspirations and challenge students.
The day provided students with the chance to see the University's facilities and encouraged them to consider what skills they possess and how 'soft' and 'hard' skills related to specific careers.
The day was a great success with the students enjoying the experience.
Geoff Towsey, the school's Careers Advisor, said: "it's never too early for students to start learning about university. Their time at school will pass very quickly and they will soon be thinking about the next step after Year 13."
