Dear Professional,

In our latest enews, read about Professor Martin Elliot’s lecture on SUDEP, where he highlighted its devastating impact and the vital need to continue making steps now to help prevent further deaths. We are now funding a clinical research trial of WADD – a wearable device that alerts people when someone with epilepsy stops breathing. Our safety tools were flagged in the International Neurology Journal as interventions which benefit the care of people with epilepsy. Also read about our epilepsy digital tool EpSMon which has now been backed by the NHS as one of only eight innovations under the Innovation Accelerator programme. EpSMon also received a positive review from the NIHR in their report on 'Emerging technologies for the diagnosis, treatment & management of epilepsy’. The app also won the Health Business Award for Healthcare IT!
