Meet Our Newest CEBIP Clients

Clean energy developments come in several forms. Two of CEBIP’s newest client companies are pursuing meaningful solutions to fuel cell efficiencies and carbon reduction. Please welcome MEAn Technology and Urban Freight.

Mean Technology
uses a proprietary method to coat fuel cell membranes prior to manufacturing with catalytic nanoplatelets. This technology can boost fuel cell power output by a potential of 40% and decreasing costs by 37% for fuel cells of equal power. Applications are to be utilized for transportation, auxiliary, portable and stationary power needs. MEAn hopes to produce and/or license the technology.

The Urban Freight
sustainable last mile delivery system will take up to 1,000 trucks off Manhattan streets every day. The system will significantly increase the efficiency of inbound freight shipments and provide delivery service to congested downtown districts without trucks entering the city. The new system uses proprietary shipping technology to leverage untapped capacity in New York City’s existing infrastructure to lower local delivery costs, reduce carbon emissions, reduce traffic congestion and improve public safety.
