UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT IMPACT NASHVILLE

Our next open Happy Hour is just around the corner on Thursday, February 23, 5:30-8:00 PM.  Liz Miller, one of our members, will host the event at her house on Albert Drive in Oakhill. For location details, please contact info@womenimpactnashville.com

And, we will continue to have more opportunities, like happy hours, coffees or lunches throughout the first half of 2017 so that you can find an event that matches your schedule.  Check out our growing events calendar, or you can visit our website and join directly.
NEWS ABOUT OUR WINNERS
Retrieving Independence has volunteer opportunities. They need puppy raisers and a volunteer coordinator.  A puppy raiser gets a puppy at eight weeks old and the puppy lives with the family for 8 more weeks before going into the prison full time. It is a very rewarding thing but also very demanding. They have a volunteer class coming up in March, and the puppy raisers are required to attend a training, as well.

The Volunteer Coordinator arranges the schedule for the dogs coming our for their furlough weekends. This person also sets up puppy raisers. The new role will have the opportunity to streamline and simplify the process. To learn more, contact Shelly Steel at Shelly@retrievingindependence.org.

RENEW WITH KROGER TO SUPPORT IMPACT NASHVILLE IN 2017
Because all membership donations go directly to our grant recipients, we are always looking for ways to fund our operating costs. Even if you are not a member, you can still support Impact Nashville.

Impact Nashville is registered with the
Kroger Community Rewards Program, and you can sign up for more than one community organization.  Our non-profit number is 71604. Simply register online at krogercommunityrewards.com. Or, if you are already registered, Kroger requires every member to re-enroll each year.

We appreciate your support so that our members' donations can go directly to our grant winners!
