This week's new and special...

A NEW MEMBER OF THE CLASS OF '17
She does need to feed from the bottle, but she is also warm and dry in the little sheep barn.
A good place to be on a stormy day like today!

We are now at our  highest year- to-date rainfall total since 1995!
But the river is not running above ground or over the crossing.  This means the water is still going down into recharging the aquifer.

The downside of this winter is not being able to get our small fields garden reworked, so now we're just harvesting from the hoop houses.  But more beds coming on every week!  In the nursery we' re ready to pot up the first of the tomato seedlings!

End of apples and winter squash this week.  We will continue to have seconds on apples for juice , sauce and some baking for about a month.
