You're Invited: ETS Labs Wine Flaws Seminar, March 8

In partnership with ETS Laboratories, Sonoma County Vintners (SCV) would like to invite hospitality staff and entry-level production members to attend the 2017 Wine Flaws Seminar at the SCV office in Santa Rosa.

Seminar Information

Wednesday, March 8, 10 a.m. - noon
Sonoma County Vintners Boardroom
400 Aviation Blvd, Suite 500
Santa Rosa, CA

Join Sonoma County Vintners and Eric Herve of ETS Labs for a wine flaws seminar, specifically designed for hospitality and tasting room staff, and production team members that are new to the industry. Train your nose and learn to identify a wide range of wine flaws in this dynamic introduction to common off-aromas in wine.

  • Experience first-hand the effects of specific compounds associated with aromatic flaws
  • Learn to recognize and describe the main categories of “flawed” wine: microbial spoilage, premature aging, oxidation, sulfides, and environmental problems in a lively interactive session
  • Learn the origins and causes of these problems as well as prevention and treatment options

Space is limited, and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Two representatives per winery are permitted to register. For more information, contact Jesslyn Jackson, Member Programs Manager, at Jesslyn@sonomawine.com.
