Look At What We Did!

All good Bloomies have learned the meaning of the term "atmospheric river." All of Morro Bay was in the midst of the current today. What would you guess? Three inches of rain? 60 mph wind gusts? We might still have green hills for the America in Bloom judges in May. There will be a break tomorrow morning, so let's meet at the Morro Bay Police Department, 850 Morro Bay Boulevard, at 9 a.m. and do a quick tidy-up.

Look At What We Did!

The photo above shows the Osteospermum fruticosum Bloomies purchased and planted at Morro Bay Bike Park about one year ago. Look at how they have grown! Last week, a crew deadheaded the spent blooms and there were hundreds of new buds ready to burst open as soon as we get some warm sun!
