We at Crossroads Church are part of a larger community of faith called the United Church of Christ - the UCC. Our roots go back to the Pilgrims who came to Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1620 and to German immigrants who settled in eastern Pennsylvania in the late 1700's. We are part of a nationwide movement of more than 5,000 congregations with ties to other churches around the world.
Last year, through the United Church of Christ's Cornerstone Fund, we were able to refinance our church's mortgage at very favorable rates. We are grateful for the support and cooperation we received from the Fund. As part of our negotiation with the Fund, we committed to increase our support for the UCC as a sign of our gratitude for the good we have received.
This month, we invite you to join in that support as we make a special offering to the UCC through what we call Our Church's Wider Mission. Any gift you can make will be appreciated.
