~ A Community That Plays Together, Stays Together ~
If you've ever made a surfboard you know 'it.' If you've ever known someone who makes surfboards, you know 'it.' If you've ever tried to make a living, one way or another, off building surfboards then you sure as hell know it. Board builders are some of the hardest working people you'll ever know. This is true enough in fact, that most are more than happy to let you know. Often with a grumpy sigh that will linger in the foam-dust cloud they trail with them everywhere they go. And this is why it is so important for these hard working men and women to take a little time every now and then to blow off some steam (or rather said foam dust).
As it goes, we see plenty of these builders of all backgrounds come though our shop on a daily basis, and in an effort to keep the balance we figured it was about damn time we threw a little gathering of our own at the shop. And so we called up all of our friends and stocked up on all of the party essentials. When all was said and done there were only crumbs and empty beer cans left to be found at the shop. Yeah, there were a few great deals made that day, but the most important thing to us is to bring together all of our friends and family who's back breaking labor literally keeps this industry alive and rollin' for some well deserved good times. After all, we're all in this together and we couldn't do it without each other.
