Kilgus Farmstead Bulk Beef Sale!

For a limited time, we are offering a discount on all quarters and halfs of beef. If you have freezer space to spare and an interest in stocking up on locally-raised, high-quality beef, this is your moment!

Our Jersey steers are raised on our farm and fed non-GMO corn that we grow ourselves, allowing for quality control that guarantees a consistent, high-quality, delicious product.

Our sale price is only $2 per pound hanging weight, plus the cost of processing (roughly an additional $1 per pound). For those who haven't purchased beef in bulk before, a quarter beef typically weighs approximately 125-135 pounds, and a half weighs between 250-270 pounds (a quarter will easily fit in a small 5 cubic-foot chest freezer and a half requires about 6 cubic feet of freezer space). 

Our process for bulk purchasing:  

• First, contact us at info@kilgusfarmstead.com by March 30th to receive the sale price (the price will increase $.20 per pound in April). We’ll take your order and pass it on to our processing partner, Chenoa Meat Locker.
• After you’ve placed your order, someone from the locker will contact you to walk you through customization options. You will get to choose whether you'd prefer more roasts or hamburger, for example.
• The locker will contact you in two to three weeks to let you know that your beef is ready for pick-up.  
• You will pick up your order from Chenoa Meat Locker at  8 N Veto St, in Chenoa, IL. Please bring two checks: one to pay the locker for processing costs and another for Kilgus Dairy for the beef.
