Sermon Questions for Personal Study & for Sticky Groups
2/19/17
"Our Brand of Faith: Our Goal as Methodists"
Rev. Larry Anderson

1. Have you ever heard this message about God's sanctifying grace before?  What do you think about the pastor's assertion that our culture desperately needs this message?

2. Have you known someone who you think had a heart made perfect in love?  What was it about them that made you come to that conclusion?

3. What struck you most in the sermon?  What do you want to discuss?

4. What (if anything) keeps you from receiving the cleansing of your heart through God's sanctifying grace?

5. What is the next step in your journey with God?

6. How can the group help you this week?

(Editor's Note: For further in-depth study on God's grace, may I recommend "The Walk to Emmaus," a 72-hour retreat held at Blue Lake Camp.  To find a sponsor, ask the members of your Sticky group if anyone has attended this retreat, or please email me at esther@stluke-umc.org for more information.  You can read more at http://www.bluelake.us/emmaus.html.)
