Our departure is five months away and we are getting so excited! We are at 75% of our outgoing expenses and 65% of our monthly support! Thank you so much to all who have given and who continue to give! We couldn't do this without you!
We went to Atlanta, Georgia, over the first weekend of February for an orientation/training with our mission, Be One Together. It was so great to get to know the directors, Mike and Mary Pinkerton (pictured above), as well as be better acquainted with how our mission works and receive some training. We were required to attend before we could move, so now that we have, we are one step closer to going!
We hoped to be able to say that we purchased our plane tickets in this update, but ticket prices and available flights are not great right now and we've been told that our best options will be around three months before it is time to go. So we should be able to inform you in our next update that we've gotten our tickets!
We are still looking for prayer partners. If you are interested in being on our prayer team, please shoot us an email and let us know. Even if you've told us before, if you could email us again to confirm that you'd like to be that would be really helpful, as we are going to be putting together a list.
