A first look at upcoming releases from CGE, Space Cowboys and Ludicreations

Paul Grogan, of Gaming Rules, will be at AireCon with a whole host of games for you to try out and preview. You'll find him near the board game library with a whole host of games from;

Vlaada Chvátil prototype - From the designer of Codenames, an unnamed prototype party games which will provide guaranteed silly fun for you and your friends
Pleiades (working title) - Vladimír Suchý, designer of Prodigals Club and Last Will brings you this euro game with a strong theme set in a far away galaxy - still in development
Through the Ages expansion - Get a first look at a new expansion coming for Through The Ages
Adrenaline expansion - 6 players, team mode, capture the flag...it's all in the plans for an Adrenaline expansion, get a first look at AireCon
Tash Kalar expansion - the third expansion will bring new tactics to the arena of Tash-Kalar

Phew! As most of these are still in development, we can't guarantee that they'll all be available, but there will certainly be something new and exciting for you to try. Just look out for Paul on the edge of the Open Gaming area at AireCon and ask him for a demo.

Events schedule for AireCon 4

AireCon is a great time to sit down and play loads of games, but we also love putting on great events that will enhance your convention experience. These events are guaranteed to provide fun, laughter and you may even make a few friends.

We'll be running most events in our dedicated events space downstairs in the Kings Suite, right near the ticket desk.

Friday 10 March

AireCon Tickets

Sub Terra Kickstarter ends at midnight tonight!

Sub Terra is a fully cooperative survival horror board game. You and up to five friends are cave explorers who have become trapped deep underground. You must quickly explore a tile-based cave system, utilise your character's specialist skills and carefully manage your actions to find the way out before your flashlights die and you're lost in the darkness forever.

You'll need to work together to overcome deadly subterranean hazards - stick together for safety, or split up to cover more ground. One wrong step could knock you unconscious and your friends will need to stage a rescue. Light and hope are scarce. And worst of all, you don't think you're alone down here...

OMINOES – The Dice Tactics Game for Everyone will be released at AIRECON!

YAY Games are delighted to announce that the 2nd Edition of OMINOES will be released at AireCon. This will be the first chance to play and buy the full retail version – unless you are one of the smashing backers who supported the successful Kickstarter. Having already gathered a bit of a cult status among those who have played and bought the 1st Edition (in a tin) OMINOES will now be getting a general release and will be in shops very soon.

If you like your games quick to learn, easy to play and short and snappy then come and play at stand C&D1.

OMINOES is a 2-4 player dies tactics game, where you simply have to make groups of four or more of your dice as Apep, Ra, Horus, or Khepri. But beware, players can move your pieces in a quick and snappy battle of desert tactics. The game pieces were discovered in Egypt by Andrew’s Great -great–great Grandfather in 1864 but only now has the game been reinvented. Come along and enjoy 6,000 years of fun.

And don’t forget to play the award winning ‘Frankenstein’s Bodies’ and the Griffin winner ‘Sandcastles’ too.’
