  • Paid Academic Library Intern, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen MI
    • Interlochen Center for the Arts is looking to hire an Academic Library Intern for the 2017 camp season. The dates of the contract are 6/12/17-8/7/17 and the stipend for the entire duration of the contract is $1,525. Housing is provided for the dates contracted (early arrival/late stay requests, if space is available, will be paid in full by the employee). All meals are included with your agreement- breakfast, lunch and dinner. 
  • Assistant Head and Digital Technologies Development Librarian, Harvard University, Cambridge MA
    • S/he will provide technical leadership and hands-on programming expertise for digital library projects; identifying emerging technologies that have potential for new and improved library services; and develop new digital library services through an iterative process that emphasize performance, sustainability, and usability. S/he will respond to reference inquiries, support the curation of digital research results (images, datasets, software, etc), and provide support and training on research tools (version control platforms, content management solutions, library systems, repositories, etc). S/he will ensure that collaborative relationships and special projects move forward and meet the changing needs of the CfA community.
  • Audio-Visual Special Collections Librarian, University of Mississippi, Oxford MS
    • Reports to the Head of Special Collections, primary responsibilities include accessioning, arranging, describing, and creating finding aids for photographs, reel-to-reel tapes, audio cassettes, video tapes, born digital formats, and other audio and visual formats; developing and implementing policies and procedures; identifying and addressing preservation issues; and prioritization and supervision of the digitization of archival audio and visual materials.
  • Digital Technologies Librarian, Vassar College, Poughkeepsie NY
    • The Vassar College Libraries seek a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative library professional for the position of Digital Technologies Librarian. The incumbent will work alongside faculty members, students, librarians, and IT colleagues across campus and within open-source communities on projects that advance research, teaching, and learning. This position is an excellent opportunity to work within a team to develop and maintain tools, systems, and applications that enhance scholars' ability to pursue new avenues for learning and research using the Library's resources and expertise. The incumbent will also help to implement systems and services that bring library resources to our faculty and student scholars in innovative ways.

    • This temp archivist role is to support digital asset management on additional licensed Marvel and Disney Girls IP Sensitive projects. Digital Asset Archivist will prepare, maintain and retrieve upon request all digital assets (artwork, photos, merchandising guides, catalogs, etc.) within the Content Services Portal.

    • This position is located within the Office of the Director (D), Division of Exhibitions (DEX) of the National Gallery of Art. The primary purpose of this position is to provide clerical and administrative support for exhibition administration, as well as performing and supporting other Gallery departments with various aspects of exhibition administration.

  • Processing Archivist/Collections Manager, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington DC
    • The Smithsonian American Art Museum is seeking a Processing Archivist/Collections Manager to process the Joseph Cornell Study Center “archives.” This is a temporary, privately-funded position, not to exceed three years. All work will take place in the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Research & Scholars offices, located in Washington, D.C.
  • Vizcaya Archivist, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Miami FL
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, History, Art History, or related field is required. Two years of professional experience in a museum, library or archive environment appraising, arranging and describing manuscripts and archival material are required.
  • Digital Education Librarian, Seattle Pacific University, Seattle WA
    • The Digital Education Librarian provides leadership for and participates in digital education and digital literacy programming for faculty and students; leads and manages technological solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and scholarship; and supervises educational technology services and staff. This is a non-tenure track position with faculty status.
