Mardi Gras Breakfast: Mark your calendars for February 26 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. WCF will be sponsoring a Mardi Gras Breakfast with festive masks, beads, balloons, music and of course, food! There is no charge for the breakfast; just a free-will offering.

Spring Mission Trip: The destination and timing for the spring mission trip have been set. The work team will be leaving on Sunday, April 30 for West Virginia. Return is planned for Saturday, May 6. Work activities will involve reconstruction work (drywall installation and finishing, flooring installation, painting, etc.) after flood damage which occurred last June. Funeral Coordinator: We are looking for someone to serve in a behind the scenes roll for our church and our families at the time of death of a loved one. This person should be calm, organized, detail oriented, and be able to interact with funeral service participants, funeral Director and the family when necessary. Women's Retreat: Do you feel worn-out, weary, and possibly as if you are running on empty? is it hard to keep the faith amidst all that life is throwing you? Then plan to join us for this year's Women's Retreat where we will hear from 2 wonderful speakers who will uplift and encourage us, participate in a fun and easy service project, eat some delicious food, and enjoy fellowship with women who are just as weary as you are! Mark your calendars now for Saturday, March 4 from 9:30 to 2:00. Tickets are $15 and will go on sale in the lobby February 5. We hope to see you there!
Shifting to Win: We are hosting an event which is designed to empower parents of children with special needs. Parents with special needs kids have their own set of unique challenges which can effect work, school, finances and relationships. Parents can often times feel frustrated, overwhelmed, isolated and hopeless. But there are tools that can help! This event focuses on helping parents learn those life-changing skills.
If you or someone you know is a parent or caregiver for a child with special needs, invite them to attend this one day event on February 25 from 9-10:30 A.M. here at CGC. The cost is FREE and all you need to do is contact

New LIFE Study Group: Christian Character class in room 8 will begin a new study on Proverbs beginning February 29. This Bible study on Proverbs explores the book's timeless teachings and guidelines with a focus on how to help you live a Christian life in the contemporary world. It looks at many aspects of personal conduct, friendships and family, and life and death.
