With a majority in Congress calling for repeal of Obamacare, the time has come to tell your story about how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has changed your life. Senators Tillis and Burr and Congressmen McHenry and Meadows and the media have been invited.

The purpose of the Town Hall Meeting is for ordinary citizens to share their stories about access to health care in Buncombe. Your story will be documented and experts will be on hand to answer questions.

Enjoy Highland’s fine craft beer while letting your voice be heard. Always remember, democracy is not a spectator sport--it’s time to step up on behalf of health care for all.

The 2017 2nd Annual Blue Apple Contribution Drive is Now!

Please, faithful  members, contribute if you haven’t already. Moral March in Raleigh on February 11 Drew about 80,000 People!

Two vans full of NAACP members, friends, and many others drove to Raleigh last Saturday for a spectacular display of energy, resolve, and resistance! The signs were creative and abundant, and the speeches from a wide diversity of people were crowned by Rev. Barber’s amazing speech. This impressive gathering was a resounding affirmation of grassroots groups taking action daily to respond locally, statewide, and nationally. Keep taking action!
