This event is a great opportunity for parents to have a break for a few hours while kids with special needs and their siblings enjoy fun activities.  The Sibshop portion allows siblings an opportunity to:
-Meet other brothers and sisters who “know” what it is like to be a sibling to someone with special health or developmental concerns.
-Have an opportunity to talk about, and listen to, others’ concerns related to being a sibling in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.
-Make new friends, learn new games, do crafts, share a meal and have a lot of fun.

Special Olympics and Community Connections have partnered to offer a one time Junior Athletes Pilot program in Conway. Junior Athletes is a sport and play program for children with special needs, ages 6-10 years old. Floorball and Cycling will be offered simultaneously in a one hour class. Since this is a pilot program the total participants is limited to 16. Junior Athletes introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing.

Special Needs Ministry in Conway

Kid Life Plus is a special needs ministry for children at New Life Church. Our vision is to share the gospel of Jesus in a relevant, meaningful way that kids with special needs can understand. This service is individualized for each child and our goal is to help parents feel confident that their child is being loved on while learning about Jesus. Kid Life Plus is currently offered at the Conway campus during our Saturday service (7 pm) and our first Sunday service (9:30am).
