February 2017 Newsletter

Yeah! We made 8 years! How great is that! Looking back I have realize how far the site has come. So many more events and even more to come this year. At least 4 promoters have added new shows to their agendas. I know that 2017 is going to bring more interest to dolls than ever before as well as a tighter community with many promoters (clubs, organizations and individuals) coming together and combining efforts for some great event dollie and bear weekends.

Many guides and features have been added to help to have a smooth and easy event. Just look at how the Deluxe listing inclusions list has grown. The add-on options, too, with more in the works. Always coming up with new ideas to help you keep it going with many of ideas coming from the community!

Even though there has been some bumps in the road these past 8 years, it has has been a pleasure to serve you, the doll community. I thank you for your kind words and encouragement. I appreciate you!

DollShowUSA.com Spring Online Show & Sale

What is an "Online Show" you may ask? Quite simply, the online show is just like a real physical show only you attend in your pajamas from the comfort of your home 24/7. The site is the show and each Icon/Logo goes to the sellers' online shop (or booth). Buyers simply visit the site during show times to see what wonders can found. World Doll Day ~ How will you Celebrate?

World Doll Day was started by Mildred Seeley with a letter she wrote in 1986. It is celebrated on the 2nd Saturday in June and the intent was to "give a doll" away to someone. On this 31st year, the day lands on Saturday, June 10th 2017.

Everyone around the world is welcome to join in as the day belongs to all of us. If you are going to have an event or activity, let me know I will list it on the site, www.WorldDollDay.com. If you have an event already planned for that weekend, why not come up with something to give away or a special activity at your event to promote the day? Display & Letter are easy to print from the site.
