2017 Annual Meeting: Meet the Keynote
 
We are happy to announce this year's keynote, Dr. Gregory Eells, PhD. Dr. Eells is a licensed psychologist in the State of New York and has worked in higher education mental health for 22 years. He currently serves as the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at Cornell University and has served as a director of a university counseling service for the past 19 years. This year’s Combined Annual Meeting will be held in Burlington, Vermont, November 1-3, at the Hilton Hotel. The keynote address will take place on 11/1 and you can watch a sneak peek of Dr. Eells and the topic he will be focusing on, resiliency, here.

NECHA Awards
Want to recognize the great work that a colleague is doing in College Health?  NECHA has two opportunities to do this each year with the Louise Gazzara and President’s Award. Please take a few minutes to nominate a deserving colleague.  Nominations are due by June 15th. Winners will be announced and celebrated at the annual meeting in November.
 2017 ACHA's Affliate New Professional Award 
Congratulations to Laura Owen, MA, CHES, Assistant Director of the Emerson College Center for Health and Wellness, the recipient of this year's ACHA's Affiliate New Professionals Award! Laura is also an Emerson undergrad and an Emerson College Health Communication Program 2012 graduate making her a "double lion".
