SSVT Daily Sports Announcements

1. Good luck to our 2 wrestlers, Noah Rodri and Azaiah Caparotta, competing in the MIAA Divisional State tournament this afternoon at Wakefield High School.  Matches will begin at 3.  They will not allow any spectators in to the gym until 2:30.  If they are able to advance to the semi-final round they will return tomorrow morning with matches beginning at 10:30.

2. The boys freshmen, JV, and varsity basketball teams will travel to Upper Cape today for games at 3:30, 5, and 6:30.  The freshmen and JV teams will be dismissed at 1:50 for a 2:00 bus.  The varsity team will leave at 4:15.

3. The girls JV and varsity basketball teams will host Upper Cape this afternoon at 3:30 and 5.

4. The hockey team will host Mashpee tomorrow afternoon at 5:45 at Rockland Rink.  This will be Senior Day for the team.

5. There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing lacrosse this spring on the Tuesday we return from vacation, February 28, at 2:30.

6. Any students interested in playing spring sports need to sign up on the school website.  The sign up link is located on the athletics page.  If you already signed up for a spring sport when registering for fall or winter you do not need to do it again.  Athletes also need to make sure their physicals are up to date in the nurse’s office and complete the concussion test and Impact testing if they haven’t played a sport previously this year.
