One for All Campaign - Monday 6th March 1400 GMT

With Dr. Ellen Dorsey, Executive Director, Global Wallace Fund , Rev. Fletcher Harper, Executive Director, GreenFaith and Ciara Shannon, Interim Campaign Director, One for All.

Closing the energy access gap means opportunity for all. Health for all. Education for all. Employment for all. Community for all.

Closing the energy access gap means "One for All".

One for All is an independent, global campaign that seeks to mobilize new forms of capital and new investors to invest in energy access. One for All will dramatically diversify and increase funding for energy access – and bring clean affordable energy to remote rural places, for cooking, lighting, clinics, and schools and businesses. We will support communities to build local capacities. We will direct and scale investments to solve a global problem at the local level.

World Energy Outlook-2017 special report on energy and development - Monday 13th March 1400 GMT

This year, the International Energy Agency's (IEA) flagship World Energy Outlook (WEO) will include a special study on energy and development, continuing a long tradition of the IEA providing a robust and fact-based platform to tackle the energy access deficit. The objectives of this study include an update on the current status of energy access and progress towards achieving energy for all by country, an assessment of pathways to achieve modern and sustainable energy for all by 2030 and whether this will follow or diverge from that taken by many countries before, and analysis on the link between economic growth and energy development.

Please join IEA analysts for a webinar on March 13 at 1400 GMT, where they will provide an overview of the IEA’s work on energy access, the scope and timeline of the forthcoming study and key questions. They will also respond to your questions and comments and discuss opportunities for engagement. For more information on the IEA’s work on energy access, please visit our website at http://www.worldenergyoutlook.org/resources/energydevelopment/
