There’s a lot going on at the preschool during the month of March. We’ll be visited by Otto the Auto, a remote-controlled talking car from AAA who will provide the children with a traffic safety presentation. Otto will discuss the importance of using car/booster seats, how to cross the street safely, and why it is important to always wear a bike helmet. We’ll also be having two special Yoga Safari Lunch Bunch Days, be visited by a bagpiper for St. Patrick’s Day and have class pictures taken.

Monday, March 13 will be a Ledo’s fundraising day/night from 11 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Severna Park location. Mention our name when dining in or taking out so we receive credit for the sale. We’ll also be at THRIVE Gymnastics on Wednesday, March 15 at 1:30 p.m. for another fundraiser where the children will have an hour of exploration, skill practice and games while the parents mingle. It’s a time of friendship and fun for everyone.

Acceptance letters have been sent out for next year and we have several openings available. If you know of anyone that is interested, please have them give me a call at 410-647-9224. Thanks!

Fear - an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
Why do we fear? What are the things we fear? Do we let it control us? What would our lives be like with the ability to better control our fear?
Imagine, if you will, a life without fear, worry, threats. Imagine our lives not affected by anxiety. What if we allowed our faith alone to control us? If we could remove every last speck of fear, insecurity, and dread from our hearts and minds just think of what life would be like. What would we accomplish? Fear imprisons us and keeps us from fully living our lives.
I constantly fear for the safety, security and health of my family. People often think I'm paranoid and I must admit I do stress a great deal over this. Maybe it can be attributed to things I have seen in my life, the violence, hate, and despair I have bared witness to. I fear about disappointing God. I stress constantly about being the man God wants me to be. I fear about being able to pay the bills. I fear about being the perfect dad and husband. I fear I will not achieve what I want to in my career. I fear terror in the world, and I fear greatly the lack of God in peoples lives and the attack against Christian values in this country. This fear I feel is dreadful and it takes a toll on all of us.  I know I'm not alone in this.
There is a reason Jesus wages a war against fear. The Bible lists approximately 125 Christ issued imperatives. And I have learned 21 of these urge us not to fear or be afraid, to take heart and to have courage. A distant 2nd place is love which occurs only 8 times. So its apparent Jesus takes our fears serious!
Nobody is immune to fear but we must learn to trust more and fear less. We must have faith. Fear has never made anybody successful, or created a relationship, its never payed the bills, or caused you to venture out and try something new. Courage, faith and trust do those things.

Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven. Matthew 9:2

I tell you not to worry about everyday life-whether you have enough. Matthew 6:25

Take courage. I am here. Matthew 14:27

Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me... I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. John 14:1
