More Opportunities For Healing Three weeks after my ankle injury, I was in a car with two friends returning from a Thursday evening gathering in Gettysburg, and my head turned to the left as we passed my friend's chiropractor's office on Route 30. I received the message that my ankle was out of alignment and needed adjustment. It made sense to me because I didn't have the range of flexion in my right ankle and I knew it felt wrong when I was walking on it. But the ankle was still too tender to be pressed by a chiropractor.
Two Sundays later I decided to go to a Barre Yoga class to try it out. I thought I could do it as my ankle seemed stronger. The class was a mixture of yoga, pilates and ballet. Bad idea! Without the proper flexion in my ankle, my posture was a mess and I was in a lot of pain from head to ankle on Monday. I knew I had to see the chiropractor asap.
My friend Sharon is a patient and the dog sitter for Dr Darcy Andersen, the chiropractor on Route 30 whose signed we passed. Darcy is intuitive, spiritual and senses energy, not your typical chiropractor. I trusted my intuition and took the earliest appointment for Wednesday. Darcy is not covered by my health insurance but she charges only $80 for first visit with x-rays and $25 for each adjustment after that.
After my first adjustment from head to ankle, I was sore and spacey as my body began to move the blocked energy in my spinal column. I found out from Sharon that Darcy will also adjust a patient's dogs for a $10 donation toward a Children's Fund. After I returned to review my x-ray results, Darcy showed me where my spine was out of alignment. It was worse that I thought from the fall and month of incorrect walking. I told her of my trip to Brazil scheduled for March. She suggested I come in twice a week to heal as much as possible. After my next week's visits, I asked about bringing my dogs. Darcy explained that she works on them in the car after my adjustment.
On Monday 27 February, Sharon, Twix, Milo and I went to Darcy to get chiropractic adjustments. After Sharon and I were finished inside, Darcy came out to my minivan to meet Twix and Milo. Sharon brought out Darcy's little dog Paisan to meet them as well. Darcy used the thumper tool only on the dogs but she used her hands to sense the energy blocks. I watched her work on Milo first, barely touching him as she tuned into the energy of his spinal column. Milo loved it and his eyes began to close. I told Darcy about his rear leg limp from a track injury that never healed properly. Milo had issues from neck to hips. With Twix, Darcy found issues with her head and neck. I told her about Twix having arthritis and bulging disc around her left front shoulder from racing. My friend Angel in Oct-Nov 2015 worked on Twix distantly while I was in Brazil (the trip when Casey nearly died and I got intuition to get Milo and minivan). Twix has not had any pain since Angel's healing work but Darcy still found issues in that area. Darcy was surprised how silky soft Twix and Milo are as well. I will take them to get weekly adjustments as long as I'm a patient. When we got home, the dogs slept for hours.
So my ankle injury, which sounds like something bad, not only gave me the opportunity for releasing old mental and emotional patterns that don't serve me, but also lead me to Darcy who is helping me and my dogs get healthier. Remember, things that seem bad don't have to be. They are opportunities for growth and generally lead to something better, if you have the correct perspective on life and are open to thinking positive instead of negative about situations.
Trip to Casa Orchestrated By the middle of February, I accepted that I was going to the Casa without a group. The people that had been interested postponed to a later trip or just didn't have the funds yet. I was planning to travel on Wed 15 March and stay until April 2, giving me a 2.5 week vacation. Yet every time I went to look at tickets, it didn't feel right to buy one yet. I trust my intuition and often get guided by spirit when to buy my ticket.
While in a Yin Yoga class the Sunday after my first visit to Dr Darcy, I received the message to delay my trip by a week and to buy ticket on Tuesday. Pretty clear message! With no group, I could be flexible with travel dates. Also, since January I have been taking some training with my friend Kawena in Oregon that goes 10 weeks every Mon and Tues nights from 10pm to 12am (due to the 3 hour time difference) from January to March. This training was guided during the December trip where Kawena was a group member. St Ignatius was very chatty with Kawena and asked her to teach me. I've been learning energetic tools connected to Meditation and Healing and will begin Clairvoyant training in the spring after completing the ones I'm taking now. I was guided to double-up to move things along faster.. By delaying my trip a week, I will not miss the last Healing class which is a make up due to a cancellation from ice storm in January in Oregon. So the Entities made sure I will go to Brazil having completed my training.
On Tuesday, I looked at tickets and ended up using my Delta miles, after buying what was lacking to get a miles ticket. I am now traveling to Brazil from 23 March - 10 April and my ticket cost $382. Sweet! But the surprises weren't finished yet. The next evening, I got a call from a former MD client about going to the Casa for a week at the end of March. Apparently, the Sunday night I got my message, she got a message too and had a dream with John of God about going to the Casa and buying a crystal bed. She's been talking about this for 3 years and now she's going with me. I will be guiding for a week and have an entire week for myself to sit in current the first week of April.
I've been telling the Entities that I look forward to gifts and surprises each day while feeling excited about whatever might arrive. A few days after getting a person in my group, another person emailed me about being their guide while I was at the Casa. This woman was in the same group as me when I first went to the Casa in a group. She is going for a month and just wants me to be her guide for a week to support her.
Wow! Thank you God and Casa Entities (all my spiritual support team really) for helping me to be of service to my friends and getting my trip paid for, plus I get time for my own healing and downtime. After all these weeks of training and healing on so many levels, I need a vacation. I got what I asked for in ways I could not even imagine. Not really a surprise though as I knew I was going, just not the details. I am grateful for my blessed life that seems magical at times but just proves to me that I am aligned with allowing my good to come to me. I wonder what surprises are being lined up for me at the Casa.

Special Evening Event: Channeled Healing Meditation on Sat 4 March at 7:30pm. Fee is $10 and limited to 15 people. Kathy is a spiritual medium and healer who works with spirits of very high intent and vibration. She will channel several spirits who will lead the group in a guided meditation and healing session. Attendees are asked to wear white or light clothes and will be required to sit with feet on the floor and arm/legs uncrossed to allow the flow of energy. Kathy will give some introductory information to attendees before the channeling begins. The entire session typically lasts around 90 minutes.

Family Constellation Workshops -- Coming Soon
Kathy is trained as a Family Constellation Facilitator by the Hellinger Institute of DC.
Family Constellations can expose the hidden dynamics within families that often are behind the problems and misfortunes we experience in our lives. The early death of a parent or sibling, the exclusion of a family member, violence done by or to a family member, and other events can lead to unconscious entanglements that disturb our lives and relationships and the lives of others in our families, often with severe consequences. This experiential workshop can help bring these hidden loyalties to light so that they can be resolved and love can begin to flow in a more balanced and healthy family system.
In the workshop, the client is asked to present a particular issue or problem they want to address. Other workshop participants, who do not know the client, are selected to represent some of their family members. The representatives then begin to experience the thoughts and feelings of the actual family members. The facilitator works with the representatives to bring the hidden dynamics to light and to help restore balance, respect, dignity, and love between all members of the client's family. Everyone attending the workshop is able to observe and feel the effect of the entanglements and the freedom that results from their resolution.
