We hope you've had a wonderful month! Yesterday, we returned from our annual student conference, and today we're praising God for all He's doing in the lives of the next generation. Here is what has happened in February:
Student conference

This past weekend, Every Nation Campus held 5 student conferences across the country. We loaded up 25 people in our cars and drove 6 hours to the conference, where we joined just under 300 other students from around the Southwest Region! It was an incredible time of spiritual growth and deepened relationships within our campus ministry. You can watch a YouTube recap of the conference here.

One amazing story is about the faithfulness and boldness of Alyssa, one of our students. Alyssa's life was changed a few years ago when she came to a deep understanding of God's love for her, and she began to pray fervently for her roommate, Marsha. Alyssa even put Marsha on her "VIP prayer list," which is something we've developed in our ministry to encourage students to pray every day for 5 people, but then also invite them to church within 5 days. After TWO YEARS of consistently inviting her roommate to Bible study, Marsha finally began coming around. Marsha attended the conference this weekend, and made the commitment to forever follow Jesus. Immediately after driving home to San Marcos, Alyssa had the joy of baptizing Marsha in the river.

Throughout February, Dan has seen spiritual growth among the men in his student Bible study. One Filipino student decided to pursue full-time ministry, and others are seeing victory in their lives, as they surrender things like drugs, pornography, and fraternity lifestyles under the lordship of Jesus.

One story that developed this week is about a student named Reuben. Dan randomly met Reuben on campus five months ago while evangelizing, and they started having a series of deep theological discussions about Christianity. Reuben considered himself atheist, and as an African-American student, felt that Christianity was a White man's religion. He wanted to debate Dan on the crusades and current political issues. Dan was willing to talk openly (and even agree) that Christians had done terrible things throughout history, but those things didn't discount what Jesus had specifically done for Reuben on the cross.

Last week, Reuben met Dan on campus, and took a Bible out of his backpack. He set it down on the table and said, "Where should I start reading? I feel peace that you can lead me through this."

Please pray that the word of God would powerfully speak to Reuben, and that Dan would have wisdom in leading him towards Jesus!
Leaving for Monterrey in less than two weeks!
From March 11th-18th, I (Kristin) am leading a missions trip of 24 students to Monterrey, Mexico. Every Nation Ministries planted a church in Monterrey a few years ago, but they haven't yet started any outreach to the college campus. Our team will host a training on evangelism and campus ministry, and we'll then spend the week with the church members, sharing the gospel with students and hosting a large, Friday night event. Would you please keep the following in your prayers?
  • Pray that we would effectively launch a brand-new campus ministry
  • Pray that I would have wisdom as I lead this team
  • Pray for safety and ease crossing the borders
  • Pray for a harvest on campus!
Thank you for your continued love and prayers. As always, please call or email us with any prayer requests! It's our honor and joy to be on your team in whatever you're facing today.

From our hearts,
Dan and Kristin
