Product of the Month
We are proud to announce the launch of Learn a Stitch: Whip Stitch, our second learn to sew kit that helps beginners build a solid foundation for their sewing journey. The easy-to-use kit teaches how to sew whip stitch and make two useful, felt key rings. Along with clear photographs and step by step instructions, the kit also contains all materials, plus a needle and thread to create both an elephant and a dog key ring. Priced at £9.99 and presented in a pretty, drawstring, organza bag, the kit also makes a lovely present.

We might see you there…
It was lovely to meet so many of our fellow crafters at the Craft4Crafters Show in Exeter this month. Our next two shows are the fabulous Knitting & Stitching Show at Olympia, Kensington from 2 – 5 March followed swiftly by the Sewing for Pleasure Show at the NEC, Birmingham.
If you love craft shows, keep an eye on our Facebook page as we often run competitions for free show tickets.

Make of the Month
We have chosen two more young crafters for our Make of the Month. Charlie and Phoebe, brother and sister, decided to have a try at sewing this half term with our Learn a Stitch kit and sent us a photo of their finished creations, along with some very kind words about how much they enjoyed making them and gave us 5 out of 5 stars! Thank you Charlie and Phoebe!

We hope you'll agree that they are very good results for beginners to sewing!
If you fancy entering our competition (the winner receives a £5 web voucher), simply email or Facebook us a photo of your finished creation!

Tip of the month
We often hear people tell us how worried they are about getting the face correct on their creations, particularly when stitching a nose. If you are one of these people, try this. Cut out a piece of spare fabric in the shape of the nose you fancy and place it where you feel the nose looks right. Once you are satisfied with the placement, use an air erasable marker pen to draw the outline of the nose and then use the outline as your guide for the stitching. Within a few hours, the marker pen will have disappeared leaving a neat nose! (NB Make sure the air erasable pen works on your material on a piece of scrap fabric first! We find the Clover Air Erasable Marker is fabulous).
Have fun with your crafts and, please do share with us what you make via our Social Media Channels.
Kind regards
Becky & Jess
