Key players in the UK bridge industry will gather on 16th March for the annual Bridges Conference & Exhibition at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Don't miss your chance to participate in the event, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The programme is now finalised for the event, which incorporates a sold out exhibition floor and offers a key networking opportunity for all those involved with the design, construction, management and maintenance of bridges.

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to join more than 300 attendees at Bridges 2017. Visit the website and register today.  Click here to download the event brochure today and see the list of companies who have already confirmed their attendance.

Don't miss the deadline for entries for the 2017 Footbridge Awards!

Have you commissioned, designed, built or renovated a footbridge in the past three years that you are proud of? Do you believe your team has demonstrated best practice or gone the extra mile to make the project really successful? Would you like to see them being acknowledged by their peers for what they have achieved?

Make sure you submit your entry for the Footbridge Awards 2017, the only international awards that recognize excellence in footbridge design, construction, renovation and lighting schemes and which are held every three years.

The deadline for entries for the triennial Footbridge Awards is 6 March and the awards will be presented at the Footbridge 2017 conference in Berlin, Germany, which takes place on 6-8 September 2017 (see below).

Detailed information on submitting a footbridge for the award is available on the Bridge design & engineering website.

Footbridge 2017 Conference in Berlin 6-8 September 2017

The 6th International Footbridge Conference will be held in Berlin from September 6th through 8th at the Technical University of Berlin. It will follow in the footsteps of earlier conferences in that the theme of structural dynamics – Dynamics and Innovation – which triggered the first conference in Paris, will be kept on the agenda. What is new to this conference is that there are two themes which we have identified as stimulating and important not only to the footbridge community but also to designers working in many other fields of construction: Cultivate Debate and Footbridges for Berlin.

For further information check out the conference website: footbridge2017.com.
