Having just started a country wide tour of the US, Los Campesinos! are pleased to share the accompanying visuals for their new track 5 Flucloxacillin.
 
Lifted from the new album Sick Scenes, out today on Wichita Recordings, the video features the band as daytime TV contestants and came about as singer Gareth details; “Doing music videos is something that we as a band absolutely dread, from concept to filming, and especially having to watch ourselves back. However, being stars of day-time TV is something we’ve always dreamed of. What we’ve ended up with is surely one of the most emotionally impactful clips in music video history, perfectly capturing the highs and lows of a life devoted to bargain hunting.”

Sick Scenes, the band’s sixth album arriving after a recording hiatus of some three years is testament to their longevity and canny perception -  coming into view amidst a backdrop of personal and social malaise, prescribed medication, the disintegration of local communities, non-league football and the minutiae of every-day life.
