Journey Together Through Lent

Lent is a season in the Christian calendar that invites us into a simpler and more contemplative mindset. The period of reflection begins on March 1.

We invite you to join the Daily Bread community as we journey through Lent together.

Katie Harmon-McLaughlin (spiritual formation ministries) said, "This Lent, we have asked writers to share their stories of sacred resistance after the model of Jesus in the desert. They are stories of release and awareness, of growing honesty and hopeful transformation. We invite you to journey this Lenten way with us, finding new courage and conviction in stories shared. How is the Spirit inviting you to resist and release in the desert this Lent?"

World Conference Resolutions

The 2016 World Conference authorized the First Presidency to make a selection of the resolutions that have current force and effect for the management of the church and further authorized the Presidency to make necessary editorial changes to bring the language into current usage.

The World Conference Resolutions are presented to give church leaders easy reference to them and for those who might be investigating Community of Christ to see the actions of our highest legislative body and know what the church stands for. A log of all World Conference enactments with copies are maintained in the church’s archives for the use of historians and researchers. The document will be housed in the Resource database on the church's website.

2017 Reunion

Community of Christ members and friends often gather together in fellowship and learning experiences called reunions or family camps.

President’s Challenge:
Awaken to God’s Invitation

President Stephen M. Veazey will focus on moving the church forward in Christ’s mission during a live webcast to the church.

The challenge portion of President Veazey's message will be posted online on Friday, March 24.This will give people an opportunity to view it before the live Q&A on April 2.
