13-year DCJESD veteran Lee Etta Ennis' passion for teaching is evident the moment you step foot into her
classroom. Her well thought out, organized, and intriguing lessons capture her student’s interest right from the start. Lee Etta is constantly challenging herself by researching and bringing new curriculum and relevant instructional strategies to the classroom in an effort to increase rigor and student engagement. Lee Etta also brings new and engaging instructional technology practices into her classroom on a consistent basis. Her students can be found developing skills using technology such as Skype, Makey-Makey, and Spheros. She is so passionate about incorporating technology into everyday curriculum that she is Heritage Oak's Technology to Advance (TAC) Leader. In addition to TAC, Lee Etta is also the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support lead teacher and runs a before school coding club for students. DCJESD is very lucky to have Lee Etta as one of our fourth grade teachers.
