The 8th of March is International Women's Day -- a fact I never paid attention to before living in Cameroon. Each year I buy the special fabric, one year I attended the downtown parade. I do like that one day is chosen to annually focus on women. At Rain Forest Int'l School we teach students to value women and children. One of our students is quite passionate about the problem of human trafficking. Last weekend she hosted a special event to raise awareness and funds to assist victims. We praise God for the way she and many other students have been growing in their love for Jesus and desire to serve him in the world. Here are more ways to pray for our ministry this month...

Praises for February
- Praise God for the RFIS Middle School and High School Spiritual Retreats. The speakers of both groups connected well with the students.
- Thank God for missionary colleagues who are working with our youth and with para-church organizations in Yaounde. On Youth Day they organized an outreach event with our students and some orphaned boys who are in the care of Mama Pauline.
- We praise God that Covenant missionary Marta Klein was able to return to her home and ministry in Dem. Rep. Congo. While all other missionary colleague had left Congo for various reasons, she was with us in Yaounde, helping at the school. doing continuing education on line and working on French language.
- Thank God with us for continued progress on the gym construction. And pray for safe travels & arrival of a container carrying supplies for the construction. It's due in to port near Tangiers, Morocco where it will be loaded on to another ship that will bring it to Douala, Cameroon.

Prayer Requests for March
- Pray for preparations and planning for our Covenant Fellowship retreat for all Covenant missionaries serving in Africa. Travel logistics, visas for the 13 coming from the US, (30 coming from within Africa) safe travels within Cameroon, a time of refreshing spiritual and physical renewal.
- Pray for staff needs at Rain Forest International School next school year -- particularly Science and Math teachers. Keep praying for Carl and Marcia Elwood as they raise support (currently about 30% raised) to come as hostel parents for the UBAC Hostel next school year.
- Please continue to pray with us for my friend Lucy.as she is treated for tuberculosis before she can have surgery. She has been sewing again which is how she support her family.
- Pray for Cameroon. God knows the needs of the country.
