Mercer County District Library News

Did You Know?

Did you know that the Mercer County District Library has an online catalog? You can search for books, movies, CDs, and other items right from your own home. The catalog allows you to search for items throughout the state through the Serving Every Ohioan consortium.

If the Mercer County District Library does not own an item or if it's checked out, it's NO PROBLEM. Click on "Place Hold" and get it sent to your library FREE OF CHARGE!

You can access the online catalog at http://catalog.mercerlibrary.org

Need help using the catalog? Stop by the library and a librarian will be glad to help, or click on "Tutorials" on the right side of the catalog web page.

Celina News

Library Introduces Self Checkout

The Mercer County District Library in Celina is proud to introduce its first self-checkout station. The software being used for self-checkout is an open source software that is free for the Library. The Library has no plans on replacing staff with the self-checkout station, but instead it is just another service the library has to offer.

The Mercer County District Library staff is excited about offering this service in addition to the other services that they offer.
