Dear Families,
As I write this, the temperatures are in the 50’s and it feels like spring, but the calendar tells me it is still February. I hope everyone has a chance to do something fun over the upcoming winter vacation. I know I am looking forward to catching up on some home projects.
This past week I reached out to everyone with a reminder about enrollment. I would ask that you let us know your plans for next fall as soon as possible to help us move forward in the best way in making plans for next year.
My hope is that all of our current families will be back with us, but I understand that circumstances may prevent this for some of you. I also understand that financial issues sometimes are a concern. Please do not let that stop you from completing the form. We have tuition assistance available and we can work with your family. I do want families in our larger classes to be aware that as of March 1, open spots will be given to families on the waiting list.
Please remember that on Monday, March 6th -- the first day back from vacation-- we will be having a school Mass. This will be our school community’s kick off to Lent. I ask that you send your student in their Mass Uniform on that day regardless of whether they have physical education or not. We are very blessed to have a school Mass that day to start our Lenten journey.
Another key date on our school calendar is Thursday, March 9th, which is our annual Science Fair. Students in grades 4 through 8 have been working hard to finish their projects. They will be presenting them to a panel of judges during the school day. That evening, starting at 6:00 p.m., families and friends are invited to see the work our students have done. There will a brief awards ceremony at 6:45 p.m. If you have never been to the Science Fair, please come and join us -- it is a wonderful event!
I hope everyone has a restful break and I look forward to seeing all of you in a week’s time.
God Bless,
Eric Becker
