The students of Young Actors Studio are proud to present the delicious adventures of Charlie Bucket as he visits Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. Finding the Golden Ticket leads to a land of “Pure Imagination” in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr. is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone’s sweet tooth.
Performance dates are April 13, 14, and 15 at 7 PM with an additional matinee on April 15th at 2 PM. Uncommon Art Gallery & Studios, 178 ½ N. Main Street, presents "Threads of the Past", a new exhibit of artwork created with an eye to history.
Come meet the artists on Friday, March 10, from 5-8 PM as they talk about finding inspiration in ancient Egypt, Ohio settlers, and family histories. The gallery is in a building built in 1833 by Owen Brown, and its role in our community will be honored as well.
This exhibit is one stop on a tour of 86 galleries and studios around Northeast Ohio happening in March. Sponsored by Lakeland Community College, the tour coincides with Women's History Month and honors art created by and about women. Read more about the exhibit here.

We will read a couple of stories about spring and St Patrick's Day, and have some fun activities to while away the afternoon. Story Time: Kindness
Join us for a very special story time on Sunday, March 12th, at 2 PM. We will be reading two stories suitable for 3- to 8-year-olds that focus on the importance of kindness. Each Kindess was written by Jacqueline Woodson. It reminds us of how even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference in someone's life. Because Amelia Smiled was written and illustrated by David Ezra Stein, the creator of many award-winning picture books. Amelia's kindness ripples through her community and beyond in interesting and unexpected ways.
